Darkness (and Beavis) permeates fall cable fare

It's nostalgia time at the non-broadcast nets, which are tapping some old favorites for new projects. Claire Danes, Rosie O'Donnell, and even Beavis and Butt-Head are back on TV. And the revival of the Western comes courtesy of AMC. Once the king of cringe with his wicked "Nip/Tuck," ''Glee" creator Ryan Murphy goes back to the dark side this October with "American Horror Story" on FX.Here's a look at some of what's new this fall on cable:"Homeland"(Showtime, premiering Oct. 2)Claire Danes plays a CIA agent convinced that a released POW (Damian Lewis) is now a terrorist operative."American Horror Story"(FX, Oct. 5)Chilling series about a family (Connie Britton, Dylan McDermott, Taissa Farmiga) who move into a haunted house.
